Danielle Dean, LLMSW
I am currently a limited Licensed Master Social Worker with experience working in acute inpatient psychiatric settings, supporting individuals during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. My work has given me a deep understanding of what happens not only during a mental health crisis, but also in the critical period after hospitalization, when people are expected to return to daily life while still feeling fragile, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves.
I specialize in supporting children, teens, and adults with post-hospitalization adjustment, helping bridge the gap between inpatient care and outpatient therapy. This includes processing the hospitalization experience, rebuilding a sense of safety and stability, strengthening coping skills, and creating realistic plans to support ongoing recovery. I also help people who are navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, burnout, or major life transitions following a crisis.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and practical. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based therapy, and trauma-informed care, while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs. I view therapy as a partnership, my role is to help you feel supported, empowered, and equipped as you move forward.
Reaching out for therapy after a mental health crisis can feel intimidating. You do not have to have everything figured out. Whether you are seeking stability, clarity, or a renewed sense of self, I am here to help you navigate this next chapter with compassion and care.
